Creating an Indoor Growing Setup with Our Vivosun Tent

Last Updated on January 6, 2025 by Alex Roig

Building our Vivosun grow tent was an unforgettable experience that felt like the start of something truly special. Piece by piece, we assembled the frame, pulled the fabric snug, and zipped up what will soon become a vibrant little garden inside our home.

It wasn’t just about following instructions; it was about imagining the possibilities. With every click of a metal bar and every adjustment to the sturdy fabric, we felt more connected to this project, knowing it’s the first step toward something fresh, green, and full of life.

As we stood back to admire the fully built tent, a wave of excitement swept over us. There are no plants inside yet, but the space is already filled with promise. We could almost see the tomatoes climbing, basil leaves spreading, and perhaps a few other surprises sprouting within its walls. For now, it’s an empty canvas waiting to be brought to life. The process of building it, though, was a joy all its own—a hands-on moment to dream about what’s to come.

Growing indoors is a fantastic way to ensure year-round access to fresh, healthy produce, regardless of the season or weather conditions outside. In urban areas like New York City, where outdoor gardening space is limited, an indoor grow tent offers a controlled environment to cultivate your own food sustainably.

With a grow tent, you can easily grow a variety of vegetables and herbs, such as tomatoes, peppers, lettuce, kale, spinach, basil, parsley, and cilantro. These fresh ingredients not only enhance your meals but also reduce your reliance on store-bought produce, helping to lower your carbon footprint.

We’re excited to share this journey with you, starting with the photos of the build itself. Each step is a part of the story, and this is just the beginning. Keep an eye out for updates as we fill the tent with soil, seeds, and endless possibilities. We can’t wait to see where this adventure takes us and to share the beauty of indoor gardening with you—one fresh tomato and fragrant basil leaf at a time!
